Mean Pies Pizza offers pizza made with freshly milled and locally sourced flours, currently as a thicker, fluffy, 12"x12" square pan. Our rotating seasonal specials showcase new and exciting combinations for you to try, bringing an unusual, but delicious take to a well loved classic.

This is NOT pizza. It is a twice baked focaccia. Looking under the cheese, you can see that the top of the "crust" is brown from being baked. The process appears to be to add toppings to a baked focaccia and then fire it again. There's a lot of good pizza in Asheville. Don't waste your time on this one.

10/10 pizza in the most lovely bakery. Found this cute little pizza joint thanks to google / social media and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend… once you have eaten this there is no turning back!

The eggplant pizza was really delicious! The staff were so friendly and we got our food quickly. Can’t wait for the full menu to return!

Elevated and complex flavors while still filling that comfort food feeling we all love when eating pizza. The thick crust is so light and airy that it’s like all of those toppings are being delivered on a delicious bread cloud. The offerings change regularly and you will want to come back over and over to see what creative combinations they have that week. The “Beans & Greens” pie was incredible. Definitely recommend!

Asheville has many things, but unti now was lacking in amazing pizza. This pizza is airy, crunchy, complex, and absolutely delicious. Also, it's super convenient to grab it and take it home or fun to eat it at Pleb and have a glass of wine. A wonderful addition to the river arts district.
